The game

A whole planet you can fly around

Planet Pilot shrinks our Earth to one fifth of its size, keeps it real, and paints it in bright cartoon colours. Take off from a grass strip, cross a continent before dinner, and land wherever you like.

The whole world, pocket-sized

Planet Pilot shrinks Earth to one fifth of its size, so you can really fly around it, while every plane, runway and building stays full size. Real coastlines, mountains, rivers and roads, nearly 2,900 real airports with their real runway layouts, and 57 cities rebuilt from real map data: more than 1.6 million buildings, with parks and trees.

  • Famous skylines, and 138 landmarks and mountains, 42 of them in high detail
  • A real sun, stars and city lights
  • Wind and weather that change every landing

A flying career

Start with a little ultralight and a few coins. Fly passengers, cargo, VIP charters, medical flights, photo flights and skydivers, or take the aerobatic plane to airshows and air races. Work your way up through 17 civil aircraft, from bush planes and business jets to a double-deck superjumbo and a supersonic jet.

  • 8 kinds of jobs
  • Upgrade engines, fuel, cabin and short-field kits in your workshop
  • A hangar and a logbook of every flight

Real flying, friendly controls

Flaps, landing gear, speed brakes, crosswinds and a proper stall, all tuned to feel right on a keyboard or a gamepad. Interactive lessons teach you step by step.

  • Every plane has its own autoland: set a destination and the autopilot flies the approach and lands
  • Every touchdown gets a score
  • Mind the city: buildings and landmarks are solid, though you can still fly under the bridges

Dogfights

A second game in the box. Fly from a squadron base against the Corsair air pirates: clear the skies, defend outposts, strike targets, intercept bombers, fly escort, hunt convoys and SAM sites, bust bunkers, then take on their boss aces.

  • 15 fighters, from First World War biplanes to modern jets
  • Cannons, rockets, bombs, heatseekers, radar missiles and glide bombs, plus flares and chaff
  • Online: duel a friend 1v1, fight 2v2 team battles, or fly co-op missions with 2 to 4 pilots
