Long description
Planet Pilot shrinks Earth to one fifth of its size, so you can really fly around it, while every plane, runway and building stays full size. Real coastlines, mountains, rivers and roads, nearly 2,900 real airports with their real runway layouts, and 57 cities rebuilt from real map data: more than 1.6 million buildings, with parks and trees. Players fly past famous skylines and 138 landmarks and mountains, 42 of them in high detail, under a real sun, stars and city lights, with wind and weather that change every landing.
The career starts with a little ultralight and a few coins. Players fly passengers, cargo, VIP charters, medical flights, photo flights and skydivers, or take the aerobatic plane to airshows and air races, and work their way up through 17 civil aircraft, from bush planes and business jets to a double-deck superjumbo and a supersonic jet, upgrading engines, fuel, cabin and short-field kits in the workshop.
Under the friendly look is a real flight model: flaps, landing gear, speed brakes, crosswinds and a proper stall, tuned to feel right on a keyboard or a gamepad. Interactive lessons teach it step by step, and every plane has its own autoland that flies the approach and lands at the right speeds for that plane. Every touchdown gets a score, and the cities are solid: buildings and landmarks block the way, though the bridges can still be flown under.
Dogfights is a second game in the box: fly from a squadron base against the Corsair air pirates, clear the skies, defend outposts, intercept bombers, hunt convoys and SAM sites, then take on their boss aces, in 15 fighters from First World War biplanes to modern jets. Legends puts players in 14 famous air battles, where they happened, in a plane of their era. Friends can duel 1v1, fight 2v2 team battles or fly co-op missions with 2 to 4 pilots, and 70 achievements lead to a secret hypersonic plane that flies at the edge of space.
Planet Pilot comes to Steam for Windows on December 1, 2026, for $19.99, with a free demo in November.
